The final draft of the Perkins State Plan will be decided by CDE staff in the next two weeks.  One item that remains unaddressed in the plan is whether or not a district who receives Perkins dollars to help pay for a specific CTE pathway should also provide at least one introductory or foundational course specific to that pathway.  In the interest of re-building the 7-14 pipeline of CTE this seems to be a simple and necessary requirement.
